Humanitarian Assistance

Forged International Humanitarian Teams (FIgHT) provide supplemental security, medical and administrative assistance to relief agencies worldwide. When natural disasters such as the Indonesian Tsunami or man-made disasters such as the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant meltdown leave devastation in their wake, FIgHT Teams can be mobilized quickly to any location to offer material and logistic support in a wide range of capacities.

By distributing resources through a coordinated Central Emergency Response Center, FIgHT can assume the role of a provisional relief agency and help to maintain human dignity and alleviate suffering. In an administrative capacity FIgHT teams help maintain transparency, resource accountability, and improve human resources management. Our team members are experienced in post-disaster resource allocation, resource tracking, and resource management systems utilized in large scale military and domestic operations.

Forged Humanitarian Support Teams are also trained extensively in the latest cultural sensitivity protocols and Human Rights doctrines to ensure respect for the communities in which we operate and serve. Our comprehensive training initiatives support the ethical and moral codes of treatment and interaction set forth by the United Nation’s 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Pre-deployment procedures require all FI personnel to pass written and verbal sensitivity testing, simulated case-study response drills, and cultural-sensitivity seminars. Deployments to any foreign theater are precluded by a site-specific debriefing of local cultural and religious customs for that region.
